The PHLASK Project continues its quiet progress. Here are a few quick updates:
1. We’ve built a small team of Code for Philly members who have taken the lead on developing the database and map to find PHLASK sites. The new map will be launched on the website soon.
2. The Philadelphia Water Department and Department of Public Health have been very supportive of the PHLASK mission. They are helping us gather data for public water sites that can be integrated into the map.
3. We are planning an interesting Water Tasting / Testing event for this spring 2018 at the Science History Institute.
We’re also working to distill other partnerships in the spirit of increasing access to water, decreasing waste and eliminating profiteering of public resources.
If you or someone you know cares about this mission, please feel free to reach out and get involved!
